Don't know what to say
After 28 years of being married, my parents divorce was final on Friday.
My dad just desided that he didn't want to be married anymore. (Mid life crisis anyone?)
My mom is devestated but surviving day by day. It's all been kind of a shock.
I haven't really figured out how to deal with it yet, but my brother and I seem to be hanging in there okay.
Who knew that when you don't fight over things that a divorce could be final in a matter of weeks.
I just hope my parents end up happier in the long run.

at 3/30/2007 4:32:09 AM- Katie, Thanks for the comment. It's really been strange. I saw my parents together last week to let my dad meet Molly the puppy and if I hadn't known anything was wrong I never would have guessed.
It would be great to get Molly and Griffin together. sometime soon. Molly's already 35 pounds or so and she played well with my parents dog Ann.
Wow, Terra I'm so sorry to hear about your parents. It's so scary to think that after all of those years someone could just change their mind like that. If you need to talk give me a call!
On a lighter note, we need to get our dogs together for a play date. Hopefully the german shephard in your dog will make her a little bit bigger than Griffin because he likes to think he's the boss. I need to get him around a dog that can kick his butt! :)
